Working in close liaison with key health professionals we aim to obtain the best services and support available. We fight for peoples’ rights to choice and decision making and ensure they receive all the specialist support they require, in a dignified and respectful manner.

All our residents are encouraged to join in a varied and fun activities programme that includes events to create reminiscence and experience happy times. We use arts and crafts as well as quizzes and other puzzles to keep peoples’ minds active; also exercise classes to keep the body fit as well.

Entertainers visit regularly and we encourage local schools and church groups to be involved with the home. When people are unable to go out it is vital, we provide opportunities for the local community to come into thehome, even if it is just for a chat and a cup of tea.

We recognise meal times are an important part of our residents’ day and we work hard to produce a varied menu that residents can select from. Our dining room is pleasantly decorated, and we provide the opportunity to come together to make new friends and make mealtimes sociable.
