We believe everyone has the right to receive excellent care in older age, tailored to their individual needs. To facilitate this we personally select every member of staff for their attitude and skills we develop people through our own training programmes to ensure our high expectations are met.
Our Activities Co-ordinator personally meets with each resident to establish their interests and hobbies, or new activities they may wish to explore. We have a community library service, shopping and hairdresser who visit regularly.
Meals at the Croft are all home cooked using fresh, seasonal produce. Our menu is prepared by our Cooks taking into account any dietary requirements, (cultural or medical) and of course residents’ favourites. Snacks are available, along with hot and cold drinks, throughout the day and night. We welcome visitors to your home as you choose. We strongly believe this is indeed the resident’s home and openly encourage family and friends to become part of our extended family, joining in as much as they feel able or wish to. CROFT is a small, friendly residential home accommodating up to 30 residents. It is located on the outskirts of Burton on Trent, just a short walk from the beautiful Stapenhill gardens. This park is a haven for swans and ducks and is a favourite in the summer for residents to enjoy a day out with a picnic.
The Croft is a small, personal residential home supporting older people and their families towards the end of life. We pride ourselves on ensuring all residents received individualised care from a dedicated team of carers and social activities support workers.
Experienced carers are available throughout the day and night to ensure people receive timely and efficient care and treatment as it is needed.
To support our clinicians we employ a support team of Activities Co-ordinators and hotel services staff so that all requirements and needs are attended to.
The home is overseen by the manager, Head of care, senior care assistants and also supported by the administrator.
