Welcome to Pinxton Manor

Pinxton Manor is located in the heart of the community and benefits from visits from local groups and individuals as well as the opportunity for residents to join in events, such as a weekly brunch club, outings and services organised through the church and our own outings, including visits to garden and shopping centres, gym, country fairs, local markets and places of interest.

It is the aim of all staff working at Pinxton Manor to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment where residents call ‘home’.  Ample sized bedrooms are pleasantly decorated and furnished and come equipped with en suite facilities and the opportunity for each resident to personalise their room as they choose.

We take pride in promoting the health and well-being of all residents and ensure privacy and dignity lie at the heart of everything we do.  Meal times are particularly important and through a varied menu of home cooked, nutritious meals we endeavour to support each person’s health as naturally as possible.   Your care and treatment is planned and reviewed through a multidisciplinary approach to ensure we access the full range of services available to achieve your aspirations.

We recognise and value the positive impact family and friends make and encourage people to be involved in all aspects of the home’s day, as they feel comfortable.  We are open for visitors 24 hours, although we do ask you to respect residents’ wishes and allow for their privacy at certain times.

At Pinxton Manor we consider it an honour to provide care and support for families through difficult times, particularly at end of life.  All our staff are trained to deliver the Gold Standards Framework for end of life care and we are privileged to do so.

We operate zero tolerance when it comes to discrimination in any form and treat each person as an individual, with the right to feel safe, secure, respected and content at all times.

Staff at Pinxton Manor

We recognise our staff team is our major asset and we strive to ensure their personal and professional development.

We pride ourselves on employing a committed and professional team of nurses, carers and ancillary staff to ensure Pinxton Manor functions to the highest standards with our own staff at all times, negating the need for agency or temporary workers. This ensures residents receive the highest level of care from staff who know and understand their individual needs, concerns and desires.

We recognise the enormous contribution family and friends make and have been commended for our work in supporting clients and their loved ones in our end of life care programme.
