Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support (Nights) – Clowne S43
- Allocate staff to ensure an effective skill mix
- Oversee the diary for each shift, communicating with external healthcare professionals as required, whist supporting the Registered Nurse to update and write risk assessments and care plans, ensuring staff are aware of any changes
- Maintain communication between visitors and nurses
- Manage medications, enquiring with the pharmacy, GP’s and mental health team as needed
- Deliver personal care as appropriate to clients’ needs
- Assist the care staff with personal care, fluid and dietary intake, pressure area relief and checks. Provide care leadership to ensure high standards of care delivery at all times

- Conduct competency assessments and provide instruction, guidance, and support to the care team
- Support the Manager with overseeing governance in the home addressing all shortfalls with the staff team, advise the Manager of actions taken and record on individuals records
