Monarch Healthcare is an established care provider and forward-thinking company. We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team at Woodlands Nursing Home, based in Ripley.

Woodlands Nursing home provides nursing and residential support for 40 people. The home is situated in pleasant, landscaped gardens which are bordered by Carr Wood, a local conservation area.

As a Deputy Manager at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied, and responsibilities will include working closely with the Management team to ensure the highest level of care and support is maintained. We will look to you to provide clinical leadership to the staff team, maintaining effective communication with all staff and Healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will be Nurse qualified with strong leadership qualities, experience of identifying and establishing good systems of clinical practice, and ability to oversee and monitor all nursing and treatment areas, including medication, wounds (skin integrity and pressure ulcer prevention), accidents (falls prevention), nutrition and hydration, infections, end of life care etc. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and a desire to work with people living with dementia and in particular people with complex behavioural presentations that challenge.

This is a senior clinical position within the nursing home, to work alongside clinicians and management, as well as maintaining nursing hours through clinical provision, covering 2 shifts per week. Salary iro £18.50 – £20 per hour or annual salary £37,500 to £39,000 based on full time working hours.
