Registered Nurse Nights – Pinxton, NG16

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Nurse (Nights) to join our team at Pinxton Manor.

Pinxton Manor Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Pinxton, Nottingham, NG16. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. We are able to consider bank applications.

Shift times: 19:45-08:00

As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:

  • The formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support (Nights) – Clowne S43

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support (Nights) to join our team at Haddon House, based in Clowne, S43.

Please note, we are not able to provide sponsorship at this time.

As a Senior Care Assistant/Nurse support at Monarch Healthcare, you will oversee care delivery, supporting the care and nursing team by allocating tasks and ensuring high standards of care at all times.

Required: NVQ Level 3

We are able to consider applications for part time or full-time hours. We work on a rota basis which will include alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The hourly rate is up to £12.50, depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift times: 19:45-08:00

Main Duties: This is not an exhaustive list.

  • Allocate staff to ensure an effective skill mix
  • Oversee the diary for each shift, communicating with external healthcare professionals as required, whist supporting the Registered Nurse to update and write risk assessments and care plans, ensuring staff are aware of any changes
  • Maintain communication between visitors and nurses
  • Manage medications, enquiring with the pharmacy, GP’s and mental health team as needed
  • Deliver personal care as appropriate to clients’ needs
  • Assist the care staff with personal care, fluid and dietary intake, pressure area relief and checks. Provide care leadership to ensure high standards of care delivery at all times
  • Complete checks for all relevant documentation ensuring all information is recorded
  • Communicate with the nurses regularly throughout the shift
  • Produce verbal and written reports as required

Hours: You would be required to work 16 hours per week, on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: As a Laundry Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care and nursing home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Ferndene is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Gainsborough, DN21. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

Hours: We have 2 positions available. One position is for full time days, temporary, due to maternity cover. We are also able to accept applications for bank shifts.

Shift times: 07:45-20:00

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ferndene Nursing Home. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist our Cooks to maintain a clean environment and support to prepare and serve food.

Hours: 10:30-18:30 – 15 hours per week

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is in line with national minimum wage.

We are looking for an individual who is caring, friendly and able to communicate with people at all levels. Whilst beneficial to have previous experience of food preparation, kitchen support duties and a food hygiene certificate, training and support will be provided.

The main responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant include but is not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals
  • Provide for dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area
  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies, temperatures, and schedules
