As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:

  • The formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Registered Nurse Clinical Lead – Sheffield

A vacancy has arisen for a Clinical Lead to join our team at Heeley Bank Care Home in Sheffield.

Heeley Bank provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. The home is based within the residential area of Heeley and benefits from good transport links to the surrounding areas of Sheffield.

This is a full-time post of up to 44 hours per week and an opportunity to take the next step in your nursing career, to work for a leading care home provider who is keen to promote service quality through the excellence of their employees.

The role will comprise of a mix of nursing shifts and managerial duties, with some supernumerary hours for supporting areas including but not limited to, clinical governance, supervisions, IPC, care planning and audits.

Nursing shift times: 07:45-20:00 – 3 shifts per week

Supernumerary times: 09:00-17:00 – 1 shift per week

Rostered shifts will include some weekends, evenings and on call hours. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Residential Deputy Manager, we will look to you to provide clinical leadership to the staff team, maintaining effective communication with all staff and Healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a Nurse qualified candidate with strong leadership qualities, experience of identifying and establishing good systems of clinical practice, and the ability to oversee and monitor nursing and treatment areas.

Activities Coordinator – Sheffield

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join our team at Heeley Bank Care Home. Heeley Bank offers care and nursing support for up to 67 people in a spacious, well-maintained home. The home is based within a residential area and benefits from good transport links to the surrounding areas.

Hours: 30 hours per week, between the times of 8am-6pm. Flexibility to working hours is required as the role will include some evenings, alternate weekends and bank holidays. The rate of pay is up to £11 per hour, dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and organising a range of events and activities with knowledge and experience of working with people living with dementia and creating activities that promote purposeful days. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and plan and produce a variety of documents and supporting material to enhance the home’s activities programme.

Heeley Bank offers care and nursing support for up to 64 people in a spacious, well-maintained home. Based within a residential area, the home benefits from good transport links to the surrounding areas. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

Hours: 3 or 4 days per week are available. We welcome applications for full or part time hours.

Shift times: 07:45-20:00

We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is dependent on experience.
