Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Cook to join our team at Pinxton Manor Nursing Home.

Pinxton Manor is a purpose built nursing and residential home, providing care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. The Nursing home is based within the residential area of Pinxton, NG16.

We are looking to speak with people who are passionate about cooking and providing a range of quality meals for the people who live within the home. We will look to you to prepare and cook, hot and cold meals, taking into consideration dietary requirements and individual preferences.

Hours: 2-3 shifts per week. We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. further hours can be available during times of annual leave.

Shift times: 07:00-14:30

The rate of pay is £11.44 – £12.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Further responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies and deliveries
  • Stock rotation
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well maintained, and stored appropriately
  • Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas are carried out effectively

You will be joining a supportive team, who are focused on providing person-centred care and support. You will work alongside Kitchen Assistants as well as the full staff team at Pinxton Manor.

Registered Nurse Nights – Pinxton, NG16

Pinxton Manor Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Pinxton, Nottingham, NG16. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. We are able to consider bank applications.

Shift times: 19:45-08:00

As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:

  • The formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Care Assistant – Pinxton NG16

We are recruiting for a Care Assistant (Days) to join our team at Pinxton Manor Nursing Home, NG16.

As a Care Assistant at Monarch Healthcare, you will provide person-centred care and support to people with all aspects of daily living. We are looking for people who are caring, understanding and passionate about supporting others. Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not essential as we will provide you with an induction and ongoing support and training.
