As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:

  • The formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Senior Care Assistant – Clifton Manor Residential Home – Nottingham NG11

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Clifton Manor Residential Home. As a Senior Care Assistant at Monarch Healthcare, you will support with the delivery of quality care, ensuring the highest levels of care are always maintained.

Hours: 30 hours per week on Nights. We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

The shift times are 8pm – 7am

Main Duties: This is not an exhaustive list.

  • Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting Clients with all aspects of daily living and providing support to Staff Members, ensuring shifts run in an efficient manner.
  • Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs. Complete, observe and review care planning needs, and complete written daily records as required and in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Answer the Nurse call system, giving assistance as required.
  • Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with healthcare professionals.
  • Clean and maintain equipment. Ensure the Care Centre is kept clean and tidy.
  • Dispense medication, if required, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication.

Maintenance – Clifton, NG11

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Maintenance Worker to join our team at Kingfisher Court Care Home, NG11. The role will include completing day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services, and grounds to ensure the Care Centre is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order.

This is a full-time position and may include some weekends and bank holidays. Due to the nature of the role, work outside of the agreed hours may be required alongside on call duties, therefore we are looking for someone with flexibility to shift times.

The salary is up to £25,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Required: Driving licence and use of a vehicle

The main duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Carry out repairs and decoration to the home as required and ensure the maintenance of the care homes exterior
  • Ensure any known defects to appliances, furniture, equipment, and other potential hazards are reported to the Manager and actioned as required
  • Monitor the fire panel daily, reporting any faults showing whilst testing the fire system on a weekly basis, recording in the fire log
  • Ensure all fire exits remain tidy and free from clutter, and complete visual checks of all fire safety equipment, as specified in the company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with and support visiting contractors and deliveries
  • Ensure all ventilation units and lights are kept clean and well maintained, test all appliances and equipment as required
  • Test and record water temperatures on a weekly basis
  • Ensure all products are stored correctly and in line with regulations
  • Maintain records of all required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks
  • Undertake training to support you and enable you to complete the required testing and checks

Pinxton Manor Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Pinxton, Nottingham, NG16. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. We are able to consider bank applications.

Shift times: 19:45-08:00

Health and Social Care Trainer

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Learning and Development Trainer to work across our homes, Rutland Manor, Kingfisher Court, Poplars Nursing Home and Croft Care Home.

As a Learning and Development Trainer at Monarch Healthcare, you will support Home Managers to coordinate training needs, whilst ensuring staff members complete relevant training within the required timeframes. You will deliver training, maintain competency assessments and provide support to employees during the completion of the care certificate.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, however we are looking for someone who can be flexible with regards to working hours, as the position may require work outside of the agreed times to meet business needs, and can include weekends. The rate of pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will need to be able to self-manage and work holistically at a fast pace, prioritising and managing their workload whilst working in a professional manner.

The main duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support home managers with staff training and development needs, ensuring training meets the required completion rate
  • Coordinate and facilitate the learning and development of all staff
  • Deliver training
  • Conduct observations and supervisions to advise staff teams accordingly and identify further training needs
  • Support employees during the completion of the care certificate, reporting progress to the Home Manager on each visit
  • Manage a schedule of work and report this monthly to the Training Manager
  • Prepare reports for the training manager as required
  • Contribute to new staff inductions as requested
  • Attend training meetings to discuss progress and needs
  • Provide feedback to the Management team as required
