Registered Manager – Nursing Home

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Manager at Parkside Nursing Home. Parkside Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located on the outskirts of Mansfield in a residential area. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia.

As a Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the running of the home. This will include but is not limited to, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, budgets are maintained, and legal requirements are adhered to within defined timescales. We will look to you to lead the team, providing support to all whilst ensuring the delivery of quality care is maintained through assessment and supervision.

This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be Nurse qualified. We are looking to speak with individuals with experience of leading a nursing home as a Registered Manager, who is passionate and will actively work with and support the team to make a difference.

Registered Nurse – Nights – Parkside Nursing Home

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Parkside Nursing Home.

Parkside Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located on the outskirts of Mansfield, based within a residential area. The home provides care and nursing support to elderly people and people living with dementia. We welcome applications from candidates that are looking for permanent or bank hours.

Shift type: Nights. We are also able to consider applicants who would like to work nights and 1 day shift per week.

As a registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied, and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Formulation of person-centred care plans – Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with clients, relatives, and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication – Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being – Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will need to be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Care Assistant – Nights – Parkside Nursing Home

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for Care Assistants to join our team at Parkside Nursing Home in Mansfield. Parkside Nursing Home is a purpose-built home, located on the outskirts of Mansfield in a residential area. The home provides care and nursing support to elderly people and people living with dementia, who may present with complex needs.

Rate of pay and hours: We offer a competitive rate of pay including increments for NVQ 2 and 3, following a successful probationary period. Hours are available on Days or Nights and you would be required to work on a rota basis, including some weekends and bank holidays.

If you are looking for a role where you can make a difference to people’s lives each day, then we would love to hear from you. As a Care Assistant, you will support the people who live within the home, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained.

Main Duties: This is not an exhaustive list.

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Clients as required, with washing, toileting, dressing, mealtimes, and all other aspects of daily living.
  • Support Clients who have limited mobility or physical / learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.
  • Observe care planning needs for Clients and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Answer Nurse call system, giving assistance as required
  • Carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by senior Staff Members.
  • Clean and maintain equipment used
