Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Poplars Nursing Home, DE13.
Hours: You would be required to work 16 hours per week, on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
The rate of pay is in line with National Minimum Wage.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: As a Laundry Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care and nursing home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. You will maintain the cleanliness of linen, towels, and Clients’ personal clothing, alongside ensuring the laundry room and equipment remains clean and tidy. This will include washers, dryers, laundry bags, lint trays, vents and floors.
