As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:
  • The formulation of person-centred care plans - Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication - Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being - Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals
The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and in receipt of a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Monarch Healthcare is an established care provider and forward-thinking company. We have an opportunity for a Manager Support to join our team at Rutland Manor Nursing Home, Ilkeston. As a Manager Support at Monarch Healthcare, you will provide a link between management and the staff team. You will be required to work 35 hours per week on a rota basis that will include some weekends and bank holidays. The rate of pay is up to £22,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Shift times can be between the hours of 07:30-19:30 Required:
  • NVQ level 3 or other relevant residential social work qualification/experience.
  • Previous supervisory/team leading/senior care experience

  • Conduct competency assessments and provide instruction, guidance, and support to the care team
  • Support the Manager with overseeing governance in the home addressing all shortfalls with the staff team, advise the Manager of actions taken and record on individuals records
  • Contribute to staff training to ensure all Staff Members receive the required statutory training and additional training to meet the needs of service users and enhance their own development

As a Domestic Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursing home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.
